For the first time, the Bulgarian winery “Domaine Boyar” has been recognized as the “The Best Bulgarian producer” at MUNDUS VINI, one of the biggest wine competitions in the world.
The Mundus Vini tastings results were announced a few days ago, where the Bulgarian wineries won many awards. One of these wine companies has achieved recognition which has never been given before by the world expert jury to any Bulgarian wine producer and it is “Domaine Boyar” – announced as “The Best Wine Producer in Bulgaria”.
MUNDUS VINI is undoubtedly one of the biggest and most prestigious competitions in the world, where wine samples from the best producers around the world of all types and styles are evaluated every year. Beers and spirits are also reviewed. The competition is held annually in Neustadt, Germany and precedes the largest beverage exhibition in Europe – PROWEIN.
The recognition, given by the elite of the world’s wine experts in one of the most important competitions in the world of wine, is exceptional.

That recognition is not accidental. Every year the wines produced by the winery win the top awards in this competition They have repeatedly won not only gold and silver medals, but also special awards in the categories “Best Bulgarian Red Wine ” and “Best Bulgarian White Wine “.
Every year dozens of Bulgarian wine companies take part in the competition and their wines also win prizes, but the award “Best Bulgarian Wine Producer ” is given to our winery for the first time.
Domaine Boyar has also won prizes in many other world competitions.
Together with the awards from Mundus Vini came the results from three other major competitions Sakura Awards (in Japan), where the winery has received two awards – Silver for Domaine Boyar Chardonnay 2020 and gold for Domaine Boyar Traminer 2020.
A gold medal for Quantum Rose Pinot Noir & Syrah 2020 from the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Rose Selection 2021 and two silver medals from Concours Mondial du Sauvignon for the wines from their import portfolio Nelson Cliffs Sauvignon Blanc 2020 and Paradiso Mediterraneo Sauvignon Blanc 2020.
All these awards are an evidence that Domaine Boyar is not only the most stable wine company on the Bulgarian market, but also the biggest and most stable exporter of quality Bulgarian wines on international markets.
