VIA Wines came into existence in 1998 on the initiative of a group of visionaries who produced fine high-quality bottled wines and spearheaded its growth.
Years of effort and research led us to explore various terroirs, finally settling on the San Rafael zone in the Maule Valley. There we brought to life one the country’s most important vine-growing and wine-making projects.
An appreciation of the exceptional conditions of the various estates, an understanding of the tradition and culture of each terroir, plus the impetus provided by today’s advances in vine-growing and wine-making have enabled us to develop products that are unique and at the same time innovative, in all our brands and categories.
This spirit is evident in every bottle: each one is made in harmony with the various strict criteria concerning the environment and our community. We work according to sustainable standards validated by the guidelines of Wines of Chile, and these are applied in the over 2000 hectares of vineyards which are our own to use, planted in the country’s most outstanding vine-growing and wine-making regions.
These estates give life to our winery and to our VÍA project (“The Way” in Latin). The fruit, the land and the work of man make up the driving-force for our journey along a path of excellence and daring. We are moving towards the future, never forgetting our roots or the nobility of the terroirs of a country defined by wine.
