Pinot Noir |
Color Initially purple, over time it shifts to a deep ruby-red color. |
Aroma An intense and evolving nose. At first – a mix of small red and black fruits (strawberry, cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry), which over time develops into nuances of baked plums, peppery notes and earthy aromas – undergrowth, moss and mushrooms. |
Taste A lively and well-structured wine with a rounded and supple body. The tannins and fruitiness are in harmony, with a slight astringency reflecting the strength of the secondary aromas. It has volume, body and depth. |
Food pairing The elegant character of this Burgundian Pinot Noir makes it a perfect choice for more delicate yet aromatic dishes: vegetable salads, meat or poultry tart, braised beef with vegetables (pot-au-feu style). It is also suitable with room-temperature meats, cold tabbouleh or hard cheeses such as Gouda. |
Serving temperature 13-15 °C |
